The story that started it all
London, 1999. The millennium is coming.
So is something far older.
A university student haunted by visions. A pair of master thieves pursued for a crime they did not commit. A government agent whose murder investigation leads into the unknown.
They are all caught in a plan set in motion centuries before they were born. Behind it stands the Book of Cademus, an ancient cult ready to unleash a malevolent power upon an unsuspecting world.
